Region is the most important thing about an account

A Valorant account is registered to a region; the region decides your ping, the players you get matched with and the store currency.

• You can change region, but it costs a lot. Riot’s account transfer wipes your current season progress, match history and purchase history, and after a transfer you can’t change region again for 90 days.
• Bottom line: buy an account registered in the region you’ll play in. Paying for rank and match history and then moving the account means throwing away most of what you paid.

Email access is not negotiable

Cases where an account is taken back later almost always have the same cause: the email the account is linked to stayed with the seller. Whoever has access to that email can reset the password whenever they like.

• Does the listing say the account is handed over together with its original email? If not, ask before you buy.
• As soon as the handover is done, change these in order: the email password, the Riot account password, two-step verification.
• Rank, account level, any active ban and the skin inventory are shown on the listing card and in the description. With “random account” listings the rank and level are unknown; buy them knowing that.

How much does the skin inventory affect the price?
