What you need to know about Knight Online
What’s bought and sold in the Knight Online market?
The Knight Online economy is made up of four separate things, and each has its own rules:
- Items. Weapons, armor and accessories. Three things set the price: the item’s grade (Unique / High Class / Middle Class), its upgrade level and the server. Grade doesn’t always beat upgrade level — a high-upgrade Middle Class item can cost more than a low-upgrade High Class one.
- Gold Bars (GB). The game’s own trading currency. Some listings are priced in GB instead of TL.
- Characters and rings. Level, race, NP, achievements and the level 70 quest status set the price; these come fixed with the character.
- Premium and e-pins. The game’s own membership upgrades and balance products.
One rule applies to all of them: the server. Items and characters stay on the server they’re registered to and can’t be moved to another server. Before you start shopping, make sure you know which server you play on.
Two things specific to Knight Online
- Upgrade rates aren’t official. The game’s developer has never published an official rate table; the percentages you see online are based on player observation. When an upgrade fails, the item burns — that risk is why high-upgrade items are expensive.
- The in-game market and trading require SMS verification. Make sure this verification is complete on your account before your delivery appointment; otherwise the delivery will be delayed.
Frequently asked questions
Can I buy an item or character on a different server?
Delivery happens hand to hand in the game, so the buyer and seller must be on the same server. Check the server shown on the listing card before you buy.
What’s the difference between GB and TL listings?
GB is the game’s own trading currency; you need a GB balance for listings priced in GB. TL listings are paid with the usual payment methods. The same item can appear in both lists.
Why does a +9 item cost several times as much as a +8?
At higher levels a failed upgrade burns the item. To produce one +9, a seller may on average have used up more than one item; the price reflects that risk.
What matters most when buying a character?
How it’s handed over. The character is transferred in the game with a Character Seal Scroll, not by handing over an account, so you never need the seller’s email or password, and no one should ask for yours.
