Posters and wall art

Posters, canvas and neon are not the same product

• Poster. A paper print that comes without a frame and is the cheapest option. The paper weight (gsm) should be stated in the listing; low-weight prints curl easily.
• Canvas print. Printed on canvas and stretched over a wooden frame; it hangs straight on the wall and doesn’t need a frame.
• Neon / LED sign. An electrical product: is the adapter included, how long is the cable, is a wall mounting kit provided? The listing should say.

Size and print quality

• Mark the size on the wall. A 50x70 cm print looks small on screen but big on the wall. Before you order, mark out the size on the wall with masking tape.
• Image resolution. If the image to be printed large doesn’t have enough resolution, the print comes out blurry; ask the seller up to what size it prints sharply.
• Custom designs (printing your own image) are excluded from the right of withdrawal.

Shipping, right of withdrawal and checking your delivery

• Who pays for shipping? It’s stated on the listing page; check before you order.
• Damaged package. If the box is crushed, torn or shows signs of having been opened, have the courier record a damage report on the spot. A damage claim without a report is much harder to pursue.
• Film the unboxing. Opening the package on one continuous video is the strongest evidence you have if the item is incomplete or damaged.
• Right of withdrawal. This is a physical product category, and the 14-day right of withdrawal applies from the moment the item reaches you. Custom-made items are excluded from this right; the full terms are set out in the purchase agreement.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to buy a frame for a canvas print?

No. Canvas prints come stretched over a wooden frame and hang directly. A poster, on the other hand, is a paper print and needs a frame separately.

Can I have my own image printed?

Yes, if the seller offers this service. But custom-made items are excluded from the right of withdrawal, and the image resolution decides the print quality.

Is the adapter included with a neon sign?

The listing should say. The adapter, cable length and mounting kit vary by seller; ask before you order.

How should I choose the size?

Mark the size in centimetres from the listing on your wall with masking tape. The image on screen gives a misleading sense of size.
