Silk is the premium currency for Joymax's MMORPG Silkroad Online / Silkroad-R. It is spent in the in-game Item Mall, where you buy in-game items with Silk, from mounts and pets to inventory expansions and premium costumes.
Knightpin offers seven packages, from 10 Silk up to 1,000 + 100 bonus Silk. On larger packages, the bonus Silk added by Joymax lowers the cost per Silk. What Is Silkroad Silk?
Silk is the premium currency of the Silkroad Online ecosystem, bought with real money. It is completely separate from the Gold you earn in the game: Gold is used for NPC and player trading, while Silk is only accepted in the Item Mall. Once Silk is added to your account, it does not expire, so you can save it up and spend it on one big purchase.
Your Silk balance is tied to your account, not your character. You can shop in the Item Mall with any of your characters on the same account.

How to Redeem Silkroad Silk
- Go to joymax.com and log in to your account.
- Click the CHARGE button in the top menu.
- On the screen that opens, select Charge Silk.
- Under payment methods, click Electronic PIN (E-Pin).
- Enter the code you bought from Knightpin in the field and confirm with Next.
Your Silk balance is added to your account as soon as the code is verified. You don't need to be in the game during the top-up; the balance shows up in the Item Mall the next time you log in.
What Is Bonus Silk and Which Packages Include It?
Joymax adds extra Silk to larger packages. Here is how the bonus breaks down across the packages on Knightpin:
- 500 Silk + 25 bonus — 5% extra Silk
- 700 Silk + 50 bonus — about 7% extra Silk
- 1,000 Silk + 100 bonus — 10% extra Silk, the package with the lowest cost per Silk
The 10, 50, 100 and 300 Silk packages have no bonus; they are meant for small top-ups.
Which Silk Package Should I Choose?
- 10 - 50 Silk: For a single consumable or to top up a balance that falls short.
- 100 - 300 Silk: For an inventory expansion, a mount or a mid-range costume.
- 500 - 700 Silk: For buying several items at once, like a Grab Pet and a premium set.
- 1,000 + 100 Silk: The most efficient option for long-term players who shop in the Item Mall regularly.
What to Watch Out for When Buying Silk
Silk codes are single-use. Before redeeming a code, make sure you are logged in to the right Joymax account; Silk added to the wrong account cannot be reversed. No seller needs your account password to add Silk — Knightpin doesn't ask for it either; we deliver the code and you redeem it yourself. Codes from unknown sources can get your account suspended.
